Traditional Chinese Edition of A Quest for Global Peace Released in Hong Kong

HONG KONG, China: Ming Pao Publishing Co. has released a traditional Chinese edition of A Quest for Global Peace, a dialogue between Sir Joseph Rotblat (1908-2005) and Daisaku Ikeda. An eminent physicist, Sir Joseph co-founded the Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs and received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1995 in conjunction with the Pugwash Conferences for their efforts towards nuclear disarmament. In their dialogue, the two examine humanity's struggle to live in an age of nuclear arms and the need to develop a "loyalty to humanity" that transcends narrow-minded perspectives of authority as a step in ridding the planet of the most horrific of all weapons of mass destruction. A Quest for Global Peace is also available in Italian, German, English and Japanese.
