Malay edition of A Lifelong Quest for Peace, a dialogue between Linus Pauling and Daisaku Ikeda

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia: The University of Malaya Press recently released a Malay edition of A Lifelong Quest for Peace, coauthored by Dr. Linus Pauling (1901-1994), the two-time Nobel Prize-winning chemist and peace advocate, and Daisaku Ikeda. Their dialogue covers a broad range of themes including ethics and technology, disarmament, and the human quest for progress, justice and equality.

The Malay edition of A Lifelong Quest for Peace was translated by Dr. Mohd Sidin Ahmad Ishak, the deputy dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), and edited by Dato' Dr. Mohammad Redzuan Othman, FASS dean at the University of Malaya. Dr. Othman also wrote a foreword for the Malay edition.

To date, A Lifelong Quest for Peace has been translated into 10 languages including Vietnamese, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, traditional Chinese, French and Russian.
