Ikeda Center Author Event Celebrates the Publication of Wider-Ikeda Dialogue

On February 22, 2014, the Ikeda Center for Peace, Learning, and Dialogue hosted an event celebrating the recent publication of The Art of True Relations: Conversations on the Poetic Heart of Human Possibility, a dialogue between Daisaku Ikeda and Sarah Wider, professor of English and Women's Studies at Colgate University, USA.

SGI President Calls for Regional Cooperation in Response to Natural Disasters, Youth Summit on Nuclear Weapons Abolition

In his annual peace proposal for 2014 titled "Value Creation for Global Change: Building Resilient and Sustainable Societies," Daisaku Ikeda calls for increased regional cooperation in response to extreme weather events and natural disasters. He also proposes a comprehensive program of global citizenship education and the holding of a youth summit on nuclear abolition in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 2015.

Kedros Publishing has released a Greek edition of Moral Lessons of the Twentieth Century, a dialogue between Daisaku Ikeda and former president of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev.

Simplified Chinese Edition of Marinoff-Ikeda Dialogue Published in Dalian, China

Dalian Publishing House in Liaoning Province has published a simplified Chinese edition of The Inner Philosopher: Conversations on Philosophy's Transformative Power, a dialogue between Daisaku Ikeda and Lou Marinoff, professor and chair of philosophy at the City College of New York.

Three Daisaku Ikeda Research Centers Launched in China

In November and December 2013, three Daisaku Ikeda research centers opened in China. The East China Normal University in Shanghai launched the Daisaku Ikeda Research Center for Social Education on November 25, 2013.
