Jao-Ikeda Dialogue Published in Hong Kong

HONG KONG, China: Guangxi Normal University Press has published a simplified Chinese edition of Bunka to geijutsu no tabiji (tentative translation: A Journey on the Path of Culture and the Arts), a dialogue between Jao Tsung-I and Daisaku Ikeda. In their work, the authors discuss an array of topics--from cultural commonalities shared by East Asian countries and personal insights culled from their respective lives to issues confronting youth today.

Professor Jao is an acclaimed authority on neo-Confucian studies, Buddhology, linguistics and archaeology, as well as a renowned painter and poet. He first met Mr. Ikeda at Soka University in Japan in 1974.
