I.B. Tauris Republishes Two Ikeda Dialogues

LONDON, UK: Publisher I.B. Tauris has re-released two dialogues co-authored by Daisaku Ikeda. In the first, Human Rights in the Twenty-first Century, Austregsilo de Athayde and Ikeda depict a "new humanism" that encapsulates the spirit of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which Athayde, the former Brazilian Academy of Letters president, was instrumental in drafting. In the second, Ode to the Grand Spirit, famed Russian writer Chingiz Aitmatov and Ikeda delve into the deepest questions confronting humankind, to arrive at the greatness of the human spirit and its capacity to transform the world. The two works are part of "Echoes and Reflections," a 12-volume series showcasing Mr. Ikeda's dialogues.
